A consulting firm specializing in environmental and social transition, founded by Benoit DUMAS

What fascinates me about the environmental and social transition is its ability to bring about lasting change in organizations—provided it is approached holistically so that it can be applied across all activities.

I am convinced that companies have a major role to play in these transformations; I have experienced this firsthand throughout my career in industry. But to bring about lasting change, it’s not enough to simply set goals: you have to get teams on board, share knowledge to build their skills, and empower them to act independently.

This is the approach I strive to develop every day with the organizations and students I work with, combining strategic vision with operational rigor.

20 years of experience in complementary fields

Throughout my career, I have held various positions and taken on different responsibilities that have allowed me to combine my expertise in energy, decarbonization, and responsible procurement. Maliro's Core Values

In my line of work, I talk a lot about numbers: metric tons ofCO2e, millions of euros, megawatt-hours, and so on. However, my experience as a manager has taught me one thing: it’s impossible to achieve good numerical results without getting employees on board. People always play a key role in transition processes, which is why Maliro’s values all reflect this aspect.

It is fundamental to my work, which involves getting right to the heart of organizational processes by working hand in hand with you.

Each mentoring relationship is developed collaboratively, based on mutual guidance and learning, so that everyone can push boundaries using their complementary skills.

Education is at the heart of my work, whether I’m helping teams gain a deeper understanding of the topics or facilitating knowledge transfer.

I am committed to working closely with my clients. I believe in a results-oriented approach, with a focus on excellence.

I am convinced that premium support must be tailored to each client’s needs and requires adapting to each specific context to ensure responsiveness and flexibility.

Equipping the Professionals of Tomorrow

Alongside my consulting work, teaching is another way for me to share the knowledge I’ve gained through my experiences. I believe it’s essential to provide tomorrow’s managers with the tools they need to understand environmental and social issues and to share practical methods they can apply in their professional practice—this is key to building responsible and resilient organizations.

Since 2023, I have been speaking at several schools in Paris and Toulouse every year:

  • École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Specialized Master’s Program in Critical Materials, on the topic “Sustainable Strategies for Procurement: Critical Materials”
  • Toulouse Business School (TBS), Master's in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management (MASC), on the topics "How to Implement Responsible Purchasing" and "How to Address Climate Change in the Workplace"
  • Isteli Toulouse, Aftral Group, Master’s in Logistics Organizations and Processes (MOPL) and Master’s in Transportation, Logistics, and International Trade (MTLCI), on the topic “How to Address Climate Change in the Supply Chain?”
