Incorporating Efficiency and Conservation into Your Energy Strategy
Given the current climate and economic context, many organizations today are taking steps to reduce their energy consumption. Operations departments are responsible for implementing energy-efficiency programs and, more broadly, for rolling out a medium- and long-term energy strategy. We support them in these efforts, which are at the core of Maliro’s long-standing business.

Sustainable Energy Management in the Service Sector
A successful energy strategy depends on three key factors: management, technical performance, and behavior.
At Maliro, we support our clients in these three inseparable areas when we assist with the energy management of their equipment and buildings, as well as with redefining usage patterns to promote greater energy efficiency.
We have developed two types of customized support services:

2. For the service sector: compliance with the Service Sector Decree
1. For industry: on-site energy efficiency program
We provide this on-site support at your industrial facilities to quickly identify energy losses and develop an action plan in collaboration with your teams.
Prized for its personalized approach, this program takes place over three weeks:
Week 1 – Data Collection: We map your energy consumption by correlating it with factors specific to your business, which helps explain any variations in your consumption. Above all, we identify your energy losses using specialized tools tailored to industrial sectors: analyzing actual equipment performance, tracking consumption based on production load, and identifying opportunities for energy recovery.
Week 2 – Assessment : Here , we bring together all your stakeholders (operators, procurement teams, technicians, engineers, etc.) to work together on a simple question: How can you reduce equipment losses? These workshops generate a pipeline of ideas that combine specific business knowledge with energy expertise. If necessary, we organize training workshops beforehand to ensure everyone is able to engage with the topic. We collaborate with Human Resources to incorporate energy efficiency into job descriptions. We share simple tools for integrating energy performance into operational decisions: the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) approach when costing a project, and the selection of equipment such as motors, fans, heating systems, compressors, and lighting….
Week 3 – Design Thinking : Based on the ideas generated by the teams, we work together to quantify the investments and benefits (energy and carbon), then prioritize them according to the criteria we’ve established: anticipated investments, expected benefits, ease of implementation…
We deliver an ambitious yet realistic action plan that provides a clear vision of the skills—both soft and hard—that need to be mobilized.


2. For the service sector: compliance with the Service Sector Decree
Article 175 of the Élan Act—and more specifically, the “Éco Énergie Tertiaire” (EET) regulatory requirement—mandates a gradual reduction in energy consumption across the entire commercial building stock in France: -40% by 2030, -50% by 2040, and -60% by 2050, compared to a reference year between 2010 and 2022. This appliesto all buildings with a commercial floor area (or combined floor areas) of 1,000 m² or more.
We assist our clients with their annual reporting requirements by helping them report their energy consumption on ADEME’s OPERAT online platform. We also assist them in implementing measures to reduce their energy consumption, whether through energy-efficient building renovations, adapting facilities, improving equipment and its operation, or facilitating behavioral change.
